David is a partner at Davies Howe LLP, practicing in the firm’s litigation group, with a particular focus on insurance. Prior to joining Davies Howe in 2019, David worked as Plaintiff counsel at a boutique personal injury firm and as in-house counsel for an international financial services company.  David’s experience working on both sides of the table gives him unique insight into his litigation files. His ability to consider problems from the opposite side’s perspective allows David to deliver expeditious and cost-effective solutions for his clients.  David is also available to act as a mediator in a wide variety of litigated disputes. He is the former Commissioner of the Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association and has coached at various levels of minor and university lacrosse in Ontario. David enjoys spending his free time with his wife and children at various outdoor pursuits.
