Admitted to the Quebec Bar in 1994, Jacques has served as corporate secretary, director of an insurance company, and member of the executive committee, while maintaining an active litigation practice. During his career, he has had the opportunity to plead before various administrative tribunals, all courts in Quebec, as well as before the Federal Court of Canada and the Supreme Court of Canada. In addition to his litigation activities, which focus mainly on insurance and wealth management, he is regularly called upon to advise on corporate law, commercial law, labor law, compliance, and contract drafting. He sits on the Disciplinary Council of the Quebec Bar and on various committees related to the insurance industry. He currently holds the position of Corporate Director, Litigation for the Canadian operations of iA Financial Group member companies.
