Speaker biography
Kathryn holds a degree in psychoeducation and has opted for the training and development field after fourteen years of work in the public health system as a counselor to people suffering from different addictions, mental health issues and homelessness.

Having led more than 1 000 workshops, trainings and keynotes in Canada, the United States and Europe, Kathryn thrives on helping her clients rise to their challenges. She is a lecturer at Concordia University and regularly works with employees and managers of all levels in various industries (engineering, finance, higher education, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, etc.) Her topics of interest include emotional intelligence, communication skills and stress management.

She has been teaching the world-renowned Think on Your Feet training since 2013.

Three of Kathryn’s books have been published. Two of them for school-aged children and the third, OSER avec ceux qui vous compliquent la vie, for people seeking to understand and find strategies for dealing effectively with difficult behaviors.

Passionate about fighting social injustice and promoting inclusion, Kathryn volunteers with I Count Montreal. This initiative focuses on reaching a correct appreciation of the number of individuals in situations of precarity or homelessness to fund adequate services.

Kathryn regularly appears on English and French TV, radio and print to address different workplace issues.
