Kate is Senior Counsel at CLHIA. Over the past 29 years of her career, Kate has worked exclusively in the field of life and health insurance. Her experience has included legal advisory work with both a large and small insurer and with reinsurers on all lines of business, including the management of litigated claims. Throughout her career, Kate has been a passionate advocate for the prevention of fraud.

Kate is a member of the bar of Ontario and British Columbia, and she holds an LL.B. from the University of British Columbia. She joined the CLHIA in 2018.
