Gordon Jermane is certified as a Specialist in Civil Litigation by the Law Society of Ontario and is AVP and Assistant Chief Counsel with The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company in Toronto. He has a highly-regarded practice in defending high profile matters involving disability insurance, life insurance actions, travel insurance, employment, human rights and privacy law, taking matters to trial and to appeal. His cases have been reported in The National Post, The Globe and Mail, The Ottawa Citizen, The Toronto Sun, The Toronto Star and elsewhere, and he has been published in the The Advocate’s Quarterly. Gordon has been with Manulife since 2000. He was called to the Ontario bar in 1995.
