Annie Laferrière is Senior Director, Legal Services at iA Financial Group and she joined the company in 2004. A member of the Quebec Bar since 2004, she has developed her expertise in a variety of legal areas and management positions. She is driven by a desire to help people around her grow, and by efficiency in the delivery of legal services to clients and partners. She is in charge of a pan-Canadian multidisciplinary team covering a wide range of strategic legal issues and cross-functioning expertise, including privacy, labour law, common law litigation and contracts. Her team’s mission is also to cover national practice and to be a key player in innovation and emerging areas of expertise, such as artificial intelligence. In addition to her day-to-day work, Annie is in charge of Legal Operations within the sector, ensuring that processes are optimized, costs kept under control, and tools integrated to promote efficiency and sound management.
