Jennifer Carter is Assistant Director, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, and a leader within the iA Litigation and Dispute Resolution team, based in Toronto, Ontario. She leads and manages the Toronto Common Law Litigation team and has responsibility for the full spectrum of common law litigation and dispute resolution matters across the organisation. Jennifer joined iA Financial Group in 2023 and brings extensive experience as a strategic litigator, having practised on both the plaintiff and defence sides of complex disputes. Her practice focuses on insurance, disability, life, employment, grievance and arbitration matters, and high stakes commercial disputes. In her role, she acts as counsel of record on significant files, oversees external counsel, and provides practical, risk focused legal advice aligned with business objectives.
