Tracey Hamilton is Senior Litigation Counsel with Beneva Lawyers, where she handles complex life, health, disability, and tort litigation matters. Prior to joining Beneva, she practised at a leading insurance defence boutique, where she became a partner. She has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal for Ontario.

Tracey is also a Contract Lecturer at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law, Toronto Metropolitan University, where she designed and taught the school’s inaugural Disability Law course and currently teaches Legal Research and Writing II.

She is the incoming Chair of the Ontario Bar Association’s Insurance Law Section. Tracey is a published author and is a frequent contributor to legal publications and continuing professional development programs.

Tracey received her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002, and holds a Master’s degree in Health Law.
