Rebecca leads the Trial and Fraud Litigation team within the Canada Life legal department. Rebecca and her team manage complex litigation matters, including disability, creditor and life insurance claims, market conduct and distribution issues, and fraud-related matters. In addition to managing carriage of litigation matters, Rebecca provides strategic legal advice to the business on a wide range of legal issues.

Rebecca also has experience within Canada Life’s Compliance department, in which she focussed on Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing initiatives.

Prior to joining Canada Life in 2010, Rebecca practiced at a corporate commercial firm in London, Ontario, specializing in commercial litigation, employment law, and tax litigation.
