Ron Dauphinee is the Executive Director of Regulatory Affairs with Nova Scotia’s Office of Service Efficiency (OSE). He led the Province’s landmark initiative to reduce physician administrative burden—cutting more than 400,000 hours by the end of 2024. Ron continues to champion this work while also leading the Business Navigation team, which offers personalized support to new business owners navigating government processes.

Prior to joining OSE, Ron spent six years with the Department of Municipal Affairs and previously worked with Natural Resources Canada in Ottawa. In recent years, he has also taught Local Government in Canada in Dalhousie University's Master of Public Administration (MPA) program.

Ron holds an MPA from Dalhousie (2011), an MSc in Physics from the University of Western Ontario (2009), and a BSc in Physics from Mount Allison University (2007). He lives in Halifax with his wife, three children, and their dog, Rainbow.
