Gabriel Stagno is Senior Manager, Forensic Analysis & Investigations at the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA), where he has led the Investigations function since April 2024. He brings more than 15 years of experience in financial investigations, regulatory enforcement, financial crime and compliance, including over a decade within Ontario’s financial-services regulatory environment.

Throughout his career, Gabriel has led and supported complex investigations, worked closely with legal and enforcement teams, and helped strengthen investigative practices and processes. Earlier in his career, he served in senior leadership roles with Venezuela’s Ministry of the Attorney General, including as Deputy Director of the Anti-Corruption and Financial Crimes Unit, where he led multidisciplinary teams supporting major financial-crime investigations.

Gabriel holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and is fluent in English and Spanish.
