Hiu Tung is a tax partner in EY’s Toronto office. Hiu Tung has over 10 years of experience in providing corporate tax advisory services on Canadian and international tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, corporate restructurings, Canadian tax authorities’ examinations, and tax accounting and financial reporting matters under both IFRS and US GAAP. Hiu Tung specializes in providing tax advice for domestic and multinational clients in the financial services sector, including life and property and casualty insurers, captive insurers, banks, credit unions, asset managers and private equity funds. Hiu Tung has been an instructor for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants’ In-Depth Tax Program. She has also presented on various Canadian corporate income tax topics for the CPA Quebec continuing education program. Hiu Tung is a member of the CPA Order and a CFA Charterholder.
