Renee serves as a Partner in KPMG’s International Corporate Tax and Tax Value Creation practices. In this capacity, she assists clients in the formulation and execution of comprehensive tax planning strategies that integrate international tax and transfer pricing to provide sustainable financial and operational benefits that align with their overarching business objectives. She has partnered with both large private and public companies to support their international business expansion through acquisitions and organic growth. She has also effectively managed complex reorganizations and cross border transactions while navigating legal and regulatory challenges overseas. Her expertise spans a diverse range of complex industries, including insurance, technology, and emerging markets.
Renee is a member of KPMG’s Canadian Pillar Two Technical Committee and core team, which plays a pivotal role in supporting technical and go-to-market efforts across the country. Furthermore, Renee contributes to KPMG’s Global Pillar Two Think Tank, where she provides insights on various technical matters that emerge within this domain.
Renee is also a frequent speaker and educator, presenting and lecturing on various international tax topics. Currently she serves as a lecturer for the University of Waterloo’s Master of Tax program, with a focus on Pillar Two and the intricate aspects of cross-border financing.
