Bob Naufal graduated with a Business degree from the University of Ottawa and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). Bob has over 15 years of public accounting experience mainly in tax and joined the CRA’s Income Tax Rulings Directorate in March 2002, working in various subject matter areas within the Directorate, including Corporate Financing, Partnerships, SR&ED and Resources. From 2011 to 2015, Bob worked in the Financial Institutions Section as an Industry Sector Specialist. From 2015 to 2017, Bob was the Manager of the Administrative Law Section and, since 2017, has been the Manager of the Financial Institutions Section responsible for the legislation relating to insurance corporation taxation, policyholder taxation, financial institutions and registered charities.
