Christine Fast is the Vice President Taxation at the Co-operators Group. Christine has led the Corporate Tax team for the past ten years, providing strategic leadership for the tax function, overseeing all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and risk management for the consolidated group. With 25 years experience in corporate tax, Christine has provided leadership to the Corporate Tax team and advised on complex internal reorganizations, acquisitions, tax technology transformations and accounting and tax compliance changes, including the recent IFRS17 accounting standard changes and the EIFEL reporting regime. As a member of the Finance leadership team, she is passionate about developing the team and building a collaborative culture that enables innovative solutions to emerging challenges.
