Shirley Chiu is a Director in Deloitte’s International Tax group based in Vancouver, with over 15 years of experience advising multinational groups on cross border tax matters. Having lived and worked in both Vancouver and Toronto, she has supported clients across a wide range of industries, providing international tax advisory services for Canadian companies and their global operations. In recent years, Shirley has focused extensively on the development and implementation of the OECD’s Pillar Two global minimum tax rules. She has advised Canadian based multinational enterprises on technical interpretation and practical application of the GloBE Model Rules. Shirley regularly contributes to industry discussions on Pillar Two and has presented at various industry focused events on the implications of the rules for multinational groups.
