As advancements and understanding in healthcare evolve at an increasing rate, individuals, providers, researchers, insurers and plan sponsors ask themselves “Can this be covered?”. There is a myriad of factors that influence that decision, based on responses to some standard questions.  This presentation will highlight some of those important questions that can help prepare potential providers, plan sponsors or insurers to gather their thoughts on the benefit. Questions such as What is the benefit? What condition does it treat or prevent? Who would be the right user? Who is the right provider? Etc. The session is meant to help various stakeholders in understanding basic considerations to allow for more efficient and informed decision making.
