The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) should be designed to increase access to care for nine million uninsured Canadians. But what about the danger facing third-party dental benefits? In this session, we will discuss the de-insurance risk under the CDCP, its implications on the dental, health care and insurance professions, and what we can do to safeguard existing benefits.
