Anny Duval is a graduate of the University of Montréal where she obtained her Civil Law LL.B. in 1999. She was called to the Québec Bar in 2001. She then pursued her studies at the University of Toronto, where she obtained her Common Law equivalencies, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2004.
Prior to joining the CLHIA as Counsel in August 2009, Anny occupied several roles for Assurant Solutions as interim Director of the Legal and Compliance Department and Chief Legal Counsel, and as the company’s Compliance Officer, Privacy Officer, Ombudsman and Anti-Money Laundering Officer.
With the CLHIA, Anny is responsible for privacy, unclaimed property, assisting with anti-fraud matters and all Quebec legal matters.
