Admitted to the Quebec Bar in 1994, Jacques activities have ranged from corporate secretary, director for an insurance company as well as member of the management committee all the while maintaining an active practice in litigation. During his career, he had the opportunity to appear before various administrative courts, all of Quebec jurisdictions as well as before the Federal Court of Canada and the Supreme Court of Canada. In addition to his litigation activities, concentrated mainly in the field of insurance and wealth management, he is regularly called to intervene in corporate law, commercial law, labor law, compliance and contract drafting. He sits on the Board of ethics of the Quebec Bar as well as on various committees related to the insurance industry. He currently holds the function of Corporate Director, litigation for the Canadian operations of member companies of iA Financial Group.
