Speaker biography
Kevin Cooke is a Partner in the Litigation Group at Cunningham Swan, with a focus on insurance defence.

He attended Queen’s University for his undergraduate studies, obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Studies. Kevin obtained a Master’s Degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science. After graduating from LSE, Kevin worked in politics for a few years before returning to law school at the University of Windsor and obtaining a Law Degree (J.D.).

Kevin has a diverse insurance defence practice with a special emphasis on life and disability insurance; as well as complex insurance disputes.   Kevin has appeared at all levels of Court in Ontario, including the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Kevin is actively involved with the Frontenac Law Association where he currently sits as Past-President.  He has also recently been named the East Region Representative on the board of the Federation of Ontario Law Associations (“FOLA”).   Kevin is also a sessional instructor with the Queen’s Law School.
