Dr. Amanda MacDonald Green is a Family Physician who practices in Windsor, Nova Scotia in longitudinal community medicine and is a Physician Advisor for Nova Scotia's Office of Regulatory Affairs and System Effectiveness. This is a unique governmental office where work focuses on administration burden reduction with a current mandate from Premier Houston to reduce unnecessary physician hours on administrative work by 400,000 hours and has partnered with Doctors Nova Scotia for this very important project. Dr. MacDonald Green has turned her frustration with system inefficiency into action in this role, and is very motivated to bring this work to a national level with insurance and federal industries to improve access to care for patients and longevity by burnout reduction for the profession that she loves.
