Dr. Sarfati is a McGill University trained Psychiatrist with an expertise in occupational mental health. He performs clinical assessments with a focus on functional recovery for multiple well-respected providers in the occupational health field. He also provides consulting services to one of Canada’s largest insurance providers. Dr. Sarfati has an active multi-provincial outpatient practice with a focus on mood and anxiety disorders and is affiliated with McMaster University as an assistant clinical professor. He is also a Medical Director for a major disability care provider. In his occupational health practice, he works with clients from across Canada including Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, and Newfoundland. He has been an independent medical examiner since 2019, completing hundreds of psychiatric IMEs. Dr. Sarfati has published original scientific articles and textbook chapters in the field of depression and occupational psychiatry. Licensed to practice in Saskatchewan, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec. Eligible to provide telemedicine services into New Brunswick. Certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
