Ian’s background is in data analysis and predictive modelling. He founded The Claim Lab to analyse the effects of psychosocial factors on claim duration. He works with a team of data scientists and clinical psychologists designing tools to better predict return to work. Ian has worked on many disability claims projects with insurers in the US, Canada and Australia. He has a degree in Business Management from the University of West London and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Science from Middlesex University. He now lives just outside Boston MA. When he doesn’t have his head in a database, he is under the ‘bonnet’ of a 1960s British sportscar.
