Michael P. Canning is an experienced insurance defence litigation partner at Beard Winter LLP and head of the Life and Health team. For the last 22 years, Michael has maintained an active practice in the defence of life and health claims with an emphasis on long-term and short-term disability policies as well as critical illness, life, health and travel insurance. This includes all types of individual, group, and administrative services only (ASO) claims for an ever-widening spectrum of Insurers. Michael also acts in the capacity of mediator for dispute resolution in all of the areas of his practice with increasing emphasis on the resolution of life and health claims.
