Mathieu Côté has been working in the insurance industry for over 25 years. He holds a multidisciplinary bachelor's degree combining psychology, working relationship, and human resources. He began his career in group insurance claims before specializing in rehabilitation. Eight years ago, he joined La Capitale, where he took on the leadership of the individual insurance claims team. Following the merger of La Capitale with SSQ, which led to the creation of Beneva, Mathieu now oversees all individual insurance claims across Canada for the mutual insurer.
