Dr. Adrian Box is an Anatomical and Molecular Pathologist at the Foothills Medical Center in Calgary, Alberta. He completed a combined MD/Ph.D degree with specialization in Cancer Biology in 2010 at the University of Calgary and later completed residency training in anatomical pathology in 2015 in Calgary as well. He subsequently completed fellowship training in Molecular Genetic Pathology at Emory University in 2016 and worked as an Anatomical and Molecular pathologist at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton from 2016 to 2018 until joining the Foothills Medical Center AP department in Sept 2018. Dr. Box has been the Director of the South Zone Molecular Pathology Lab since 2019 and Provincial Medical Director for the Molecular Pathology Division in Alberta Precision Laboratories since December 2022. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada and a diplomate of the American Board of Pathology with certification in Anatomical Pathology and subspecialty certification in Molecular Genetic Pathology.
