Craig Bellefontaine is a partner in Fasken’s Financial Services Group. Craig advises insurers, reinsurers, agents, brokers, adjusters, MGAs and TPAs on regulatory matters impacting their business. He has worked on M&A transactions involving some of Canada’s largest insurers, and regularly advises on the incorporation, establishment and licensing of regulated financial institutions. Craig has held senior positions in government at both the federal and provincial levels, including Chief of Staff to Alberta’s Minister of Justice and Solicitor General, and Director of Issues Management to Canada’s Minister of Finance.
