Julie Rochette is Vice-President, Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Privacy Officer for iA Financial Group, since 2022. Julie is a member of the Quebec Bar since 1994 and practiced civil litigation and family mediation until 2000. She holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Law from Université du Québec à Montréal and participated in the Civil Law Common Law Exchange Program. Julie has over 20 years of compliance and legal experience in the financial services industry, including banking, capital markets and investment banking. She has worked as a compliance leader at financial institutions. Prior to joining iA Financial Group, she held the position of Vice-President and Chief Regulatory Officer at the Montreal Exchange. Julie is a natural leader with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to influence at all levels of an organization. Her experience includes working with executive committees, boards of directors, and numerous legal and regulatory entities to build and promote a cohesive compliance-based culture.
