Teri Ryan joined Equitable Life in 2022 as Assistant Vice-President and Chief Compliance Officer. In her role, Teri oversees all compliance matters for Equitable and is also the Chief Privacy Officer and the Chief Anti-Money Laundering Officer. Prior to joining Equitable, Teri spent almost 25 years at a large Canadian insurer in various legal and compliance roles. Her compliance experience includes the distribution of insurance and wealth products including mutual funds as well as market conduct oversight and regulatory compliance management. Teri is a member of the Canadian Institute of Management and has a Chartered Manager designation. When she is not making sure everyone is being compliant, Teri enjoys travelling, time with friends and family and long walks with her dog Boston.
