Mylène Sabourin is a compliance leader with over two decades of experience in compliance and regulatory framework in the financial services industry. Since 2020, she is Chief Compliance Officer at Desjardins Financial Security (DFS) and Desjardins General Insurance Group (DGIG), along with compliance roles and functions within other entities of the Desjardins Group (DG). 

DFS is the life and health insurance subsidiary of the DG and offers a wide range of life and health insurance, savings and investment solutions through an extensive distribution networks. As part of a cooperative financial group contributing to the development of communities, DFS gives its members and clients the support they need to be financially empowered.

Mylène's journey in compliance and regulatory affairs led her to a management position with a prominent financial sector regulator in Quebec. She also held a leadership role within the legal team of a Quebec-based financial group for 15 years. Prior to that, she served as Legal Advisor and Corporate Secretary for a development capital fund. Early in her career, Mylène worked in private practice. 

She holds a Civil Law License from the University of Ottawa and a Master's degree in Labor Law from the Université du Québec à Montréal. She has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 1994.
