Dennis entered the insurance business in 1979. Since that time he has held a number of senior management positions with both domestic and foreign insurance companies and has worked with career, brokerage, and direct distribution systems. His experience has included marketing, underwriting/new business, operations, and distribution management.
Dennis joined a subsidiary of RBC Insurance, and has held several senior positions. In his current role with RBC Insurance he is responsible for the Brokerage Distribution through the MGA, National Account, and Intercorporate channels.  Dennis has participated on a number of industry associations committees including serving on the
Board of the Canadian Reinsurance Conference (CRC) and the CLIEDIS (Canadian Life Insurance EDI Standards Association) board for 14 years, including two terms as co-chair.
He has also sat on numerous CLHIA (Canadian Life & Health Insurance Industry Association) sections over the years and is currently the Chair of the CLHIA FTC (Fair Treatment of Customer) Committee. In addition he is a member of the FRSA (Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario) Advisory Committee, and on the APEXA Strategic Advisory Committee.
