Questions surrounding legal privilege, and how to effectively protect and maintain it, continue to challenge Insurers’ compliance function.  This challenge is further complicated when regulatory requirements or litigation proceedings threaten to encroach upon communications or documents over which an Insurer claims privilege.  In this session, we identify key elements of various privileges, and present practical scenarios which demonstrate how the intersection of privilege and regulatory compliance must be carefully managed.
