Gadhi Cruz is Senior Vice President, Senior Counsel and Canada Location Head at Swiss Re. With more than 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, she advises on legal, regulatory, governance and strategic issues affecting one of the world's leading reinsurers and serves on the Canadian Branch Executive Team and Branch Management. She is a trusted advisor to senior business leaders across Swiss Re and collaborates regularly with executives, regulators and general counsel from Canada's life and health insurance sector on complex reinsurance and industry matters.

Before joining Swiss Re in 2020, Gadhi held senior legal and compliance leadership roles with Canadian and global insurers. She is a frequent speaker on legal, governance and regulatory developments affecting the insurance industry.

Gadhi serves as Chair of the CLHIA Legal Annual Meeting Advisory Council, where she leads the committee responsible for planning the annual legal conference and shaping its strategic programming and thought leadership agenda.
