Susie is the National Service Line Leader for our Canadian Tax Transformation practice – a unique service line that combines tax technical experience, Lean Six Sigma principles, and technology, to transform tax functions including their compliance and reporting processes. In tandem with her Canadian role, Susie is also the Global Tax Transformation Leader for KPMG International where she leads KPMG’s Global Tax Transformation team across our network of member firms. Susie has 20 years of experience working in both Big 4 firms in both the UK and Canada. She has been with KPMG since 2021 and before that was with another Big 4 firm. She works with clients on strategic projects that require insight and teams with organizations that seek to enhance and transform their tax functions, processes and technologies. Her global experience has included working with companies of all sizes, across a wide variety of industries and spanning multiple countries including UK, Canada, US, UK, Singapore, India, and various other countries in LATAM, ASPAC and EMA. Since moving to Canada her core focus has been working with Financial Services clients. Her technology experience includes consulting on stand-alone tax applications, advising on tax sensitization of accounting systems and designing processes to support technology-enabled tax teams. Susie is also an experienced facilitator and public speaker, passionate about empowering participants and teams to identify discoveries and enhance performance.
