Reza Fini is a Director in the Real Estate & Financial Services Tax team at PwC Canada, practising predominantly in the insurance and asset management tax practice. Reza’s clients include resident and non-resident insurance companies in both the life and property & casualty insurance industry. Reza joined PwC Canada in 2018 after spending three years as an abusive tax avoidance auditor in the International and Large Business Directorate at the Canada Revenue Agency. He has over 6 years of experience in providing consulting, compliance and tax accounting advice to insurers, major asset management and capital market organizations on a variety of income tax issues including adoption of IFRS 17, structuring, due diligence, inbound and outbound transactions and tax authority audits.
