Michel Allain has been a dedicated professional at Assumption Life since 1999 and has been serving as Vice President since 2012. In his current role of CFO and Chief Actuary, he leads a team responsible for the company's financial strategies and operations, including corporate actuarial and finance activities, capital management, budgeting, forecasting, investment strategies and asset-liability management.

Michel is currently a member of the Board of Directors for Vestcor Inc. and previously served as an advisor to le Conseil économique du Nouveau-Brunswick for six years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from Université Laval and is a Fellow of both the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA) and the Society of Actuaries (FSA).

Outside of his professional achievements, Michel is a proud husband and father of three. He actively volunteers with local non-profit organizations and has coached numerous sports teams in which his children have participated—a deeply rewarding experience for him.
