Margarita is a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Financial Institutions practice in Toronto. In addition to corporate compliance and tax provision work, Margarita assists clients with tax planning, Canadian withholding tax issues, and CRA audits. She also advises clients on corporate reorganizations, purchase and sale of insurance business and technical issues related to insurance branches.

Margarita has led several tax technology projects for insurance clients including an implementation of a cloud tax provision system and the development of various automation tools for complex tax calculations.

Margarita has presented on technical and tax technology matters at Canadian Insurance Accountants Association Seminars and at the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association Conference.
