Dr. Kelly Marchuk is an accomplished health education and athletic therapy professional with over two decades of diverse experience spanning insurance services, regulatory policy, academic instruction, and athletic healthcare. She has been instrumental in assisting AT-ON Athletic Therapy Ontario in meeting the provincial regulatory requirements, including the first Athletic Therapy Practice Analysis and Competency Test. She currently serves as a board member of AT Regulation. With a strong foundation in education and policy, Kelly previously managed the Canadian Dietetics Registration Exam for the Alliance of Canadian Dietetics Regulatory Bodies, where they oversaw national exam logistics, policy development, and stakeholder engagement. She has worked with various associations working on major projects in accreditation, certification, and strategic planning, fostering improved standards for healthcare professionals across Canada. In academia, Kelly has held faculty and teaching positions at Kean University, MacEwan University, and the University of Alberta, where they developed curricula, advised students, and contributed to global health education initiatives. She also has extensive experience as an athletic therapist, working with elite athletes and teams, including the Olympic Development Soccer Program. Dr. Marchuk holds a Doctorate in Health Education from Columbia University, along with multiple degrees and certifications in physical education, exercise science, and athletic therapy. She is currently certified as an athletic trainer in the United States, is a Reg.AT-ON in Ontario, a certified Performance Enhancement Specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and is a Certified Credentialing Specialist with the Institute for Credentialing Excellence. She has contributed to international committees, research publications, and policy advocacy across North America and the Middle East.
