Brad MacCarl is currently the Director of Cyber Threat Intelligence at Sun Life, where he is focused on cybercrime and nation-state threat intelligence. Prior to joining Sun Life in 2020, Brad spent 18+ years in the security and intelligence industry. Brad served as a Technical Officer with Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) from 2003-2020, supporting national security investigations. Since transitioning to the private sector, Brad offers his unique perspective on the cyber threat landscape. He is skilled in investigation and analysis, digital forensics, intrusion detection and incident response.
