The Canadian Massage and Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association (CMMOTA) is a national professional association representing massage and manual osteopathic therapists across Canada. We support claims integrity and fraud prevention by promoting clear education standards, professional accountability, and transparent oversight of our members.

CMMOTA has established education and training requirements, approves and monitors educational programs, and requires members to adhere to defined standards of practice and a code of ethics. These frameworks help insurers and plan administrators assess practitioner legitimacy and reduce risk within the extended health benefits system.

From an insurance and anti-fraud perspective, CMMOTA plays a preventative and collaborative role.
