Integrated Vocational Rehab Solutions Inc.
Description
IVRS is a national, privately owned company with a multidisciplinary team that includes credentialled vocational professionals and evaluators, occupational health nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, kinesiologists, and psychotherapists. By combining clinical insight with real-world solutions, our team works collaboratively with insurers, claimants, employers, and healthcare providers to identify barriers early, develop individualized recovery and return-to-work strategies, and accelerate claim resolution.
IVRS offers the RISE (Resilience, Integrated Support, and Education) mental health integrated case management approach, for individuals experiencing or recovering from mental health conditions, including substance use disorders. RISE embeds the Collaborative Care Model and Measurement-Based Care to support functional recovery, vocational readiness, and informed claims management.
IVRS has further strengthened its claims resolution capabilities through the development of our Advanced Transferable Skills Analysis (Advanced TSA). This enhanced methodology goes beyond a standard TSA by explicitly incorporating the principle of ‘reasonability’ in claims management and delivering a comprehensive occupational suitability analysis for each identified occupation. The Advanced TSA supports durable and defensible decision-making by providing evidence-based recommendations that withstand scrutiny, identify reasonably suitable occupations by focusing on realistic direct-entry opportunities, and aligning vocational outcomes with a claimant’s demonstrated abilities, interests, and vocational history. This work is informed by IVRS’s experience conducting disability claims audits and delivering claims and rehabilitation training, offering insurers practical insights to inform adjudication practices and improve decision defensibility.
