Dorothée Beaupré Bernier joined the OmbudService for Life and Health Insurance (OLHI) as Senior Deputy Ombudsman in 2024.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Université de Montréal and began her career in the insurance industry before completing a Short Graduate Program in Disability Management at the Université de Sherbrooke. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Dispute Prevention and Resolution (LL.M.).
With wide-ranging experience in the life and health insurance industry and ombudsman services, Dorothée is also an accredited mediator and a member of both the Institut de médiation et d’arbitrage du Québec (IMAQ) and the ADR Institute of Canada (ADRIC). In addition to her role at OLHI, she also serves as a Conciliator for the organization.
