Your arrival: Collect your badge from the registration desk starting at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday September 11 on the ground floor in the Espace Foyer des Plaines (see hotel floor plan). Walking Tour: If you’ve signed-up for the optional Guided Walking Tour of Quebec City please pick up your badge at the registration desk prior to your walk. The group will leave at 8:00 am SHARP and will return before 9:30 am. Opening remarks will start at 10:00 a.m. You must have signed-up in advance to participate in the walk. Venue: All conference sessions will be on the ground floor and Level 1 of the hotel. Dress code: The conference is business casual. Please note, the special event on the evening of September 12 at the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac is cocktail attire, so dare to be glam! Shuttles will be provided to/from the hotel to the dinner but if you choose to take the short walk, please bring comfortable shoes and pack your dress shoes in the provided shoe bags. Translation: Simultaneous translation will be offered this year through a web-based tool, which will be easily accessible through your own mobile device. Bring your headphones or earbuds. Most of the sessions will be in English, but two workshop speakers will present in French. Meals: Breakfast will be provided on Thursday and Friday, while lunch will be provided Wednesday and Thursday. Refreshments and light snacks will be provided as noted in the agenda. If you indicated a dietary requirement, those will be accommodated onsite. Check out the full agenda on our website or in the event app. CLE credits: Upon request, only members of the Barreau du Québec will receive a CLE certificate. Review the CLE chart on our website or the app for the accreditation. For individuals who are required to report hours, the total amount for the 2 ½ days is 13 hours.
